FORCE MAJEURE GOES TO THE WEST SIDE! TWO NIGHTS ONLY!
After a successful sold out run of Force Majeure in the fall of 2016, the Odyssey Theatre brings the show to West LA as a part of their month-long dance festival in January.
A repertory evening of four new works by four choreographers, Force Majeure includes Ebba, an intimate, bold and unapologetic investigation of the many layers that exist in the psyche of girls and women, and how we can ultimately find strength and ownership in that (choreographed by Genevieve Carson with original composition by Robert Amjärv); BeautyFear, examining the moment of realization in a person's life where they come face to face with the habits and behaviors that stand in the way of their progress (choreographed by Gregory Dolbashian); Sporty, a look at a group of hip, young millennials fighting to stay relevant in a society defined by quickly changing trends (choreographed by Micaela Taylor); and Delicate Skins, an exploration of the sensations of touch, intimacy, and sensitivity within the physical and emotional realms (choreographed by Christian Denice).
